I was inspired by the unity I witnessed on social media when SAG-AFTRA went on strike, sparking Hollywood's first industry-wide shutdown in decades. As a performer myself, I wanted to do something to represent people in my position. Young actors who are fresh out of school or still in school. The pre-professional stepping into this business in the coming years who deserves to enter safe, equitable, and ethical spaces. I zeroed in on the importance of pre-member support for the strike, because even though it may not affect us right now, it will directly affect the environment of our professional reality. Coupled with the design, the hashtag "Fight for our future" delivers that sentiment in one sharp phrase.
